Secret messages from a vivid, mysterious landscape. Directly, but not literally, inspired by a night spent listening to repeated playings of James Blunt's enigmatic 'Smoke Signals'.
This image was created from my original photograph, taken at Landa Park (Landa Park Lake) in New Braunfels, Texas ( TX ).
* NOTE -- For this image the artist recommends FAA's Premium Semi-Matte paper, lustrous Acrylic Print (hanging wire mount version), or the glossy Metal Print (printed on aluminum). Acrylic and Metal prints require no framing and arrive ready-to-hang.
Explore the attractive custom framing and matting options available on this page; all are competitively priced.

Madly, wildly, fabulously gorgeous, Wendy!!!! LOVE the brilliant colors ... so energizing!!!! l/f and t

Thanks so much for the enthusiastic compliment, Lois! This is definitely one of my favorite works of this year. I originally did two versions: this one, and one in muted, pastel-y tones. When I came to my senses (and couldn't find a pod under the bed), the choice of which to send out into the world was easy! As Popeye would say, "I yam what I yam!" :-)
