Description
As a practicing asthmatic, I know that a simple set of stairs can sometimes feel like Mt. Everest, sans Sherpa. These shadowy stairs, on this particular day, felt exactly like that.

Poignant piece Wendy. Love the tranquility.

Thanks, Janine. I shot the stairs . . . but didn't climb the stairs. Maybe next time . . .

Wow, Wendy, you captured the subtle textures on the face of each stair amidst the dramatic shadows and light! Very delicately done!
Wendy J St Christopher replied:
Thank you kindly, Alexi! I appreciate that you took the time to look closely at this photograph; glad you like it! :-)
Denise Clark
A dramatic composition Wendy...love the light and atmosphere as well l/f
Wendy J St Christopher replied:
Thank you so much, Denise! I was having an asthma attack the day I encountered this interior staircase. At that moment, on that day, getting up those stairs seemed every bit as likely as me climbing Everest!
