Description
Pre-sunrise drive on the I-10, somewhere between San Antonio and Houston, Texas. Standing in this swirling fog was like walking in the clouds. I couldn't resist pulling over and experiencing that cloud-walk; even with looming, fast-moving, 18-wheelers blasting by in the near-dark!
Early-morning adrenaline rush, anyone? :-)

This image is really peaceful for me, Wendy. I love that period just before sunrise and just before sunset that are so restful.

I love the mood of this one. I'm a sucker for fog and mist and this has both. Beautifully done.

Thank you kindly, Dale. I, too, am a Fool for Fog and have been known to leave my warm bed in the wee, cold hours, just so I don't miss it! :-) The fog on this stretch of highway was incredible, swirling up around the cars and 18-wheelers like something created by a special effects team. I couldn't resist pulling over and shooting, while being buffeted by the winds and noise of the passing trucks. It was an awesome, pulse-pounding experience, and has become a favorite memory. :-)
