Emo cows - love it.
Wendy J St Christopher replied:
Emo cows! Love that, and just happen to have a little 'One Republic' playing in the background. :-) Janine, thanks for spending a bit of time rummaging around my portfolio. I appreciate it!
Rebecca Sherman
I love the mood you created here. Gorgeous, gritty image.
Wendy J St Christopher replied:
Thanks, Rebecca -- I was lucky to find these guys (girls) while I was out with my camera.
Gwyn Newcombe
Love the contrast in this b&w ... nice capture!
Wendy J St Christopher replied:
Thanks very much, Gwyn -- I definitely prefer 'contrasty' b&w images.
Simona Mereu
There is much to see in this photograph, Wendy. I find it intriguing and dramatic. Absolutely V/F!!
Wendy J St Christopher replied:
Thank you, very much, Simona! Sounds like you had a good long look at this -- I appreciate it! :-)
Oscar Campos
This is very cool! I normally like cattle and find them endearing but because of the contrast and lighting, it creates more of somber and/or dangerous mood...I would not want to see a large print of these in a dark room in which I am alone :) Good work!!
Wendy J St Christopher replied:
Hi, Oscar, and Thank You! Even in broad daylight, there was nothing "endearing" about these creatures . . . which is why I was compelled to 'shoot' them! :-)
Luke Moore
The contrast and darkness is really cool in this one! Kinda looks like they are having their mugshots taken. They got their prison numbers/tags for sure. Clever title :)
Amanda Barcon
This is a great picture. Can be taken in so many different ways too.
Wendy J St Christopher replied:
It can. Thanks for taking note of that, Amanda. :-) These cows were strange, hugely tall and more than a little scary!
